Questions
No. The Lanternlight foundation wears well without one. A primer earns its place if you have visible texture you want blurred, an oily T-zone, or a long day ahead: the foundation is rated up to 12 hours with it.
It is tested under the Lanternlight foundation and the Dewlight Skin Tint. Pilling almost always comes from what is under the primer: give sunscreen and moisturizer a few minutes to absorb, and use a pea, not more.
It is silicone-based and pairs best with silicone foundations, which ours are. Under a water-based foundation from another line, a silicone primer can separate.
Yes. There is no added fragrance.
At a pea a day, several months. If it is going faster, you are using more than the formula needs.

Combination skin
Not gone, obviously. Blurred enough that I stopped looking at them. A pea really is enough.

Oily skin
Twelve hours in a mask. With this underneath, the foundation is still on my chin at the end.

Normal to dry skin
First two days it rolled up under my foundation. Then I gave my sunscreen five minutes first and the problem vanished. Follow the instructions.

Sensitive to fragrance
It feels like nothing on the skin and it has no smell at all.

Dry skin
It did its blurring job but made my foundation look flat on my dry cheeks. I only use it on my nose now. Would suit oilier skin better.

Oily T-zone
I use it under the skin tint in summer. Keeps it from sliding.

The last quarter of the tube is difficult to squeeze out. I cut it open at the end and found another week of product.

Normal skin
Blur and grip. It does not claim to be skincare and I appreciate that.
