Check a gift card balance
Type the code exactly as it appears in your gift card email or on the back of a physical card, and this page shows what is left. You do not need to sign in.
How gift cards work
- The code goes in the Gift card or discount code field at checkout, not in the code box on the cart page.
- Several gift cards can go on one order, and whatever they do not cover is paid by card.
- A gift card is payment, not a discount, so it works alongside a discount code and on limited-edition launches.
- A gift card is valid for 5 years from purchase. The date is on the card.
- A physical card works online: the printed code goes in the same field, and the QR on the card carries the same code.
- A gift card sent as a gift can be scheduled to arrive by email on a date you choose, with a personal message.
Gift card questions
My code says invalid.
Check for a space before or after the code, and make sure it is in the Gift card or discount code field at checkout. If it still fails, write to us with the email it was sent to.
I lost my gift card email.
Write to us. A lost code is re-sent to the email it was bought for; we never type a gift card code into a chat.
My gift card expired.
Reissuing or extending a card that has lapsed is decided by our team. Write to us and we will pass it along.
Can I get cash for the balance?
No. A gift card balance is spent on orders.
Is a gift card the same as store credit?
No. A gift card balance can be checked here without signing in. Store credit lives on your account and shows at signed-in checkout.
