Storage and replacement, for everything
- Store below 30 °C, away from direct sunlight and out of a hot car.
- Keep caps and compacts closed, and never share lip or eye products.
- Replace mascara and liquid liners three months after opening, everything else within twelve months.
- Patch test a new complexion or lip product on the inner wrist a day before first use.
The batch code and the expiry date are printed on the packaging. If you ever write to us about a product, the batch code is the first thing we will ask for.
The order of a face
Skincare, then wait
Let moisturizer and sunscreen absorb fully. Most pilling starts here.
Primer
A pea of Pore Prep, pressed over visible texture.
Base
One pump of Lanternlight, or three to four drops of Dewlight.
Concealer
Dot, wait thirty seconds, tap.
Cream color
Blush balm and liquid highlighter go on before powder.
Powder
Setting powder only where skin shines; bronzer in a 3 along the face.
Brows, eyes, lips
In that order, so fallout from eyeshadow never lands on a finished lip.
Setting spray
An X and a T, eight inches away. Let it dry untouched.

The Flare Plumping Gloss asks for a patch test on the inner wrist a day before the first use, and it is not for chapped or broken lips. The tingle should be noticeable, never painful.

Tools
- Buff & Blend Foundation Brush and the Essential Eye Brush Set: wash weekly with mild soap, reshape, and dry flat with the head over the edge of a counter. Never dry a brush upright.
- Bounce Blending Sponge: use it damp, wash it after every use with mild soap and replace it every three months, even if it still looks fine.
- Contour Lash Curler: curl before mascara, with three soft presses from root to mid-lash. Replace the pad every three months; two spares are in the box.
- Velvet Verse case, Soft Focus compact and Build-a-Palette: wipe with a dry cloth. Do not soak them.
When something does not behave
Troubleshooting
My foundation is pilling.
Almost always it is what is underneath. Give sunscreen and moisturizer a few minutes to absorb, use a pea of primer rather than more, and press the foundation on instead of rubbing.
My foundation ran out in three weeks.
One pump covers a whole face, and a bottle should last about three months at that rate. If you are using three or four pumps, try one with a damp sponge.
My mascara will not come off.
Tubing mascara comes off with warm water and gentle pressure, not with rubbing or cleanser alone. Hold a warm, wet pad on the lashes for twenty seconds and slide down.
My liquid lip will not come off.
It needs an oil or a balm. Press the Melt-Off balm on the lips for ten seconds and wipe.
My powder arrived cracked.

A product stung or caused a reaction.
Stop using it, rinse it off, and see a doctor if it does not settle; urgently if there is swelling near the eyes or throat or your breathing is affected. Then write to us with the product, the shade and the batch code.
