How to use
- Before the first use, patch test on the inner wrist a day ahead.
- Apply one coat to the lips only. Keep it off the skin around the lip line.
- Expect a warm tingle for about ten minutes. That is the formula working.
- If it burns rather than tingles, or your lips swell beyond a slight fullness, wipe it off and rinse.
- Do not use on chapped or broken lips.
- Store below 30 °C, away from direct sunlight and out of a hot car
- Keep caps and compacts closed, and never share lip or eye products
- Replace mascara and liquid liners three months after opening, everything else within twelve months
- Patch test a new complexion or lip product on the inner wrist a day before first use

Asked about Flare Plumping Gloss
What does the tingle feel like?
A warm, minty tingle that builds for a minute or two and fades after about ten. It should be noticeable, not painful.
How long does the effect last?
Lips look visibly fuller for a few hours. It is a cosmetic effect from the shine and the tingle; it does not change the lips.
Why the patch test?
Because the ingredients that create the tingle, ginger and peppermint oils among them, do not suit everyone. A patch test on the inner wrist the day before tells you before it is on your lips.
What if I react to it?
Stop using it, rinse it off, and see a doctor, urgently if swelling is near your eyes or throat or your breathing is affected. Then write to us with the shade and the batch code from the tube: it goes to our product safety team. A product that caused a reaction is refundable even if it was opened.
Can I use it after a lip treatment or filler?
That is a question for whoever did the treatment. We will not clear it for you, and we would rather you ask them than guess.
