Questions
No. It ships empty and holds twelve 26 mm pans of your choosing.
Any magnetic 26 mm pan will sit in it. We only promise the fit of our own.
The hinge and the magnet, failing under normal use, for one year from delivery. A shell damaged by water or a cracked mirror from a drop is wear, not a warranty failure.
Yes, and it is the full size of the lid.
The case is $18 and each pan is $14, so twelve pans and the case come to $186. It costs more than a pre-built Afterglow palette at $48; what you are paying for is choosing every shade.

It holds my six shades with room to grow, and the magnet is strong enough that nothing shifts in my bag.

I can do my entire eye with just this open on the table.

Daily use
It got splashed at my sink and a corner swelled slightly. It still closes. I keep it in a drawer now.

My hinge loosened after ten months. One photo and a new case arrived. The pans moved straight across.

Each pan is fourteen dollars, so a full twelve costs far more than a ready-made palette. I knew that going in, but it adds up fast.

I moved a few old favorites into it alongside the Single Glows.

Gift
I gave it with three shades already inside. She has added four since.

Almost too firm; it takes two hands to open. I would rather that than loose.
